Merlin Flex has continued with its investment programme with the installation and commissioning of a Schmoll XXL large format drilling machine. This investment is part of the company’s capability improvements on long flex manufacture and allows for circuits to be drill/routed up to 3 metres long in a single length.
Merlin Flex currently manufactures flexible circuits up to 2 meters long in a single length, however, the company’s technical and applications team are continuously receiving requests to manufacture longer circuits for Aerospace and high-end Automotive applications.
